GCOMM owns and operates an Australia-wide Secure Private Network (SPN).

OUR NETWORK

The GCOMM network is a high capacity, high speed IP network that is the core of the entire GCOMM business proposition. Our network is the connectivity that links our customers with our data centers, our carrier partners and the Internet. With terabytes of traffic traversing our network on a daily basis, we understand that our network is the livelihood of our customers business.

GCOMM owns and operates an Australia-wide Secure Private Network (SPN) based on the MPLS IP protocol. This highly scalable network allows businesses to facilitate simple point to multipoint connectivity – independent of the Internet. Our Cisco-core network utilises MPLS to provide our customers with a truly redundant, resilient and high-speed national network.

In addition to our Secure Private Network we have multi homed, redundant Internet connectivity at four (4) locations across Australia (Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne), with five (5) independent upstream providers used to ensure your Internet service is fast and reliable.

At the site end we use numerous last mile access options including ADSL, SHDSL, ADSL2+ Annex M, Wireless Radio Links, x.163 E1 services, Ethernet and ATM services. Our network gives access to a broad range of access technologies that vary in price, contention and speed depending on the unique requirement of each client.
