GCOMM data centres are secure facilities that house many of Australia’s largest companies’ servers, designed with maximum security, up time and reliability in mind.

Our national broadband data centre locations are located in Equinix in Sydney, Global Centre in Melbourne, Pipe Networks and Fujitsu data centres in Brisbane, PerthIX in Perth and our own facility on the Gold Coast.

Our selection and location of our data centres serve two primary purposes. The first is to house the GCOMM network termination equipment along with customer’s equipment. The second is to maximise our reach to national and international carriers. It is inter connects that enable us to deliver a wide range of broadband services.

Global Centre, Melbourne

The facility provides the utmost security, redundancy, superb accessibility and anonymity. The NOC is manned 24/7/365. Telephone and on-site support for all requirements is provided by highly trained staff. The data centre employs a variety of high-end routers, switches, load-balancers and firewalls to ensure a world-class network.

Equinix, Sydney

The Sydney IBX centers offer a full range of colocation, interconnection, support, and monitoring services. The center is built with full UPS power, diesel generators, back-up systems, and N+1 (or greater) redundancy on all equipment. Robust HVAC system handles the demanding cooling requirements of high-power density deployments. Various rack configurations available on request.

Pipe Networks, Brisbane

All network equipment and the network are monitored 24/7 to ensure all services remain on-line 24/7. The center is built with full UPS power, diesel generators, back-up systems, and N+1 (or greater) redundancy on all equipment. Robust HVAC system handles the demanding cooling requirements of high-power density deployments. Various rack configurations available on request.

Fujitsu, Eight Mile Plains

The facility combines a high level of redundancy and fail-over capability with the capacity to cater for rapid growth in demand. It provides service level management 24/7 for customers throughout Australia. The center is built with full UPS power, diesel generators, back-up systems, and N+1 (or greater) redundancy on all equipment. Robust HVAC system. Various rack configurations available on request.

GCOMM, Surfers Paradise

16 rack data centre has been in place since 2001. UPS power systems, diesel generator, climate controlled air conditioning and power distribution provides an always available service. Coupled with 24/7/365 security monitoring and advanced remote technical support, provides the Gold Coast region with a fantastic facility for centralised computing environments. PerthIX, Perth

Perth iX is a world-class secure facility with excellent technical infrastructure and premium physical security. It is equipped with the latest from Cisco, Lucent and Dell - not to mention the triple redundant power systems including an oversized generator, biometric readers, proximity cards and motion sensitive image recording system.
